We'll meet at 8PM London Time at ICAO: HTKJ - Kilimanjaro Airport in Africa. Please bring a 'chopper capable of 130 KIAS at altitudes up to 19000'. Please link to any aircraft not in the FGUK Hangars to avoid Blue Glider Syndrome. Comms on TeamSpeak:
We'll basically be observing Mt. Kilimanjaro and nearby significant terrain of which there is plenty! Mid flight break for refuel/refresh will be at ICAO: HTLM. After refresh we will be departing again to the East to observe oddles of cool stuff before returning to HTKJ as our final destination.
I'd like to add a request that we get started Saturday as soon as possible.....I'll allow a few minutes past 8pm to get a short briefing in about weather and time setting and for Stu to get the TV Channel started but we can't wait 15 or more minutes or we'll be dreadfully late getting to our break time.
No biggie...better late than never and the more the merrier but I'll be pulling out/off the ground by about 5 after.
You have raised a very valid point, dude. If you go to the trouble of preparing a flight, then at least people could turn up a decent amount of time before take-off.
I know real-life gets in the way some times, but, it's not as if it's not posted up MANY DAYS in advance !
Additionally late joiners / flybys can catch up at a waypoint or summit en-route.
Keep it going mates ! Aprreciate the effort you all put in.
PS - FGUK Tv is ace !
