Well we came, we saw, we crashed, well Mav did, a lot, an awful lot.
Lots of fun had by all, Not a tremendous turnout, probably due to things like Summer weather and people with a strange fascination about watching grown men running around on a field in their underwear.

Was the deadliest of 'em all, dunno why I kept attempting it, I guess was too focused on making it. Anyway, I brought the Merlin and the Wildcat earlier on both the pad and the Ark Royal, so I stay happy with that, rest was just, well, craziness at it's purest form lol.
Thanks for the FlightNight Stuart, looking forward to VooDoo's next week.

Harriers are not easy to master.
The Pre GR9a models were more for STOV rather than VTOL. Hovering with a payload in early versions wasn't all that easy due to available engine power. The GR9a had the final uprated version of the Pegasus and it was much more powerful and could hover with a heavier load. The killer is the engine lag. Engine response is not instant and you need to think 30 sec ahead of yourself to stand much a chance with it.
