RELEASE DATE:- 08/01/2016

Release notes:-
V1.0

The In Aircraft help file hase been updated with new keybindings and instructions, please read it !!!!!

Multiplayer crew option available on all 3 versions.

Fixed - Livery swapping over Multiplayer.

All 3 Choppers are now configurable with different Mission loads. See the Huey Configuration menu. ( Please read the in aircraft Help file ). Each configuration is viewable over multiplayer.

Guns and Rockets can only be fired if the aircraft is configured with them. 7 Rockets per side + each minigun carries 1000 rounds.

Crop sprayer will only spray if the aircraft is configured with it.

Movable searchlight when you use the SAR configuration ( works over multiplayer ).

FDM's tweaked to load with 100% fuel and to cope with the payload weights.
Pilots change to suit the Aircraft configuration.
Advanced lighting kit fitted

Known buggs:-

The Doors do not animate over multiplayer. We did try to resolve this , and failed several times.

When joining as Multiplayer crew, the Interior may be slow to appear or fail to appear at all. This appears to be something to do with ALS ( works ok using Rembrandt ). We are not exactly sure why it happens yet. The same system worked ok on every other aircraft we used it on.

V0.7

All versions have individually tuned FDM's to suit the version.

MP sound

Interiors of the 212 + 412 have been reworked by Cain and Firefly.

Additional trim also available on the 212 + 412

V0.5

This update of the 21/412 is pased of a partly done model by Helijah. I have completed the models as best I can at the moment.

all 3 heli's now have individual FDM's although those FDM's are currently identical.

All 3 heli's share the same livery files.

The Rotor animation for the 412 is the same as the UH-1 and will need corrected at some point.

Added 2 new pilots for the 212/412 versions.

added a cannon sound FX for the gunship option.

V0.2
Ambient light values corrected on the 212 % 412 fuselages by VooDoo.

Glass shader applied to the 212 & 412.

Individual cocpit layouts for each helcopter.

Nav lights and beacons positioned on the 212 & 412.

V0.1:-
This package contains the original FG UH1 and adds the 212 and 412 models.

Both the new models share the same FDM and instrumentation as the UH1 for the moment.

Livery selection will work on both the 212 and 412 and separate livery folders exist for each helicopter.

Hello StuartC

I studied your work. I do not know where you found the 3D model of the 412, but I guess it comes from X-Plane.

Hundreds of points in duplicate, unnecessary facets etc. ... Simply by eliminating duplicates, the model passes from 11 MB to 4.9 MB lol

But the problem is not there. I just worked on it, last night. I let you test the result. If it suits you then I would continue.

Bell Huey UH-1 / 212 / 412

Regards. Emmanuel

P.S. Of course, I think N-SCOT will be happy to remake the liveries for the 212 and 412 :)

Salut Emmanuel,

Est-ce que tu a fait un paintkit pour le 412? C'est sur que j'aimerais bien en avoir un...J'ai essayé d'en refaire un mais j'ai manqué de temps. C'est pénible travailler avec tous ces petit triangles. B)

To translate....

Did you do a paintkit for the 412? I would really like to have one...I tried to re-do one but ran out of time. It is painfull to work with all these little triangles. B)

Hey 439Tiger,

Look the texture.xcg.gz :) I have add the twin engines zone (lower right).

Regards Emmanuel

P.S. It remains the nose that I need to change to version 212 and 412, but it will be added to the UV Map.

Thank you for looking at the 212 and 412 Helijah.
a couple of things I notices ( except the nose you already mentioned. ) the tail rotor on the 412 and 212 should be on the opposite side of the tail and the interiors of both the 412 ans 212 are completely different from each other and of the UH1. I spent days making those instrument panels for them. In the rear cabin on the 412 ans 212 there is no gearbox box to take up rear cabin space.

The models I used are not from any simulator, ther are static 3d models I brought to life for Flight gear.

I cant tell the hape of the nose from the screen shots but i hope these images help show the differences in exterior shape between the UH1 and the 212/412:--

No problem 439Tiger,

But do not tire yourself too. It is only the beginning and the UV Map can still change a bit :)

Regards Emmanuel

P.S. StuartC, ok for tail rotor :) The change is OK here :)

Hi All,

I downloaded the new UH-1 file that has the new paintkit with the 212/412 nose. I reworked it a bit so that all the profiles are now black (easier to see) and boosted the resolution to 4096 X 4096 to get more details.

It is available Here:

There is one thing I noticed while checking the newest version out, the 4 bladed rotor is now correct in shape, but there is one little thing. I don't know if it is a big deal to correct, but the 412 has a semi-rigid rotor, it never flops down.

The Rotor head and the FDM code for all 3 are the same at the moment.
Ideally the 212 needs a new FDM and the 412 needs a new FDM and rotor animation.
I'll get to testing this tonight.

Hi StuartC and 439Tiger

It should be understood that, for now, I mainly worked on organizing of files. I separated the FDM (there are now three (admittedly they are identical, but there are 3 files :))

For the rotor, I made the fastest. But, obviously it will remake the rotor of the 412 :)

Regards Emmanuel

P.S. It also remains to make adjustments on the nose of the 412 (connection supply indoor / outdoor). Nothing but annoying for the UV Map
