All new 3d model.

Animated cargo ramp.

New lighting kit.

Rembrandt ready

Flare launch system.

Pilots.

Cockpit cam.

Selectable payloads ( requires the FGUK Payload package )

The model is not texture mapped yet and a number of animations need fine tuning.

Package has had surplus files removed and is much smaller now.

New Cockpit layout including some instrumentation. This is a work in progress.

Changed the engine sound FX.

Minor FDM tweek.

Still to do:-

Fix the hole in the cockpit roof.

Cut and animate cargo bay doors.

Correct the UC animation.

Completely re texture map the aircraft ( Splitting the prop blur into separate texture )

added engine smoke and trails, tip trails, nav lights and beacons and landing lights.

Initial release based upon the Grizzly by Guillaume Chauvat.

An all new FDM has been created for this aircraft.

There are no cockpit instruments as yet or functioning doors.

The gear animations are still a little wonky and as yet we are unable to fix them properly.

We are looking for someone with better 3d skills than us to cut and animate the doors into the fuselage.

I loved the realism in this plane !! B)
it would be awesome if the contrails are thickened for the next release, something like this:

Glad you like it. The Grizzley is still very young in developent.
Theres lots do do in the cockpit yet, ten at some point the cargo bay needs done and it will use the FGUK payloads package like the C-17.

can I make some more animations ? like an Electric engine (of railways) and a Tractor so that you get few more objects for your basic cargo package ? (but it will be in .skp format)

I had a look at the A400M today with a view to sorting out the prop animations. There is something rather wrong with the engines that I can't quite figure out - for some reason the RPM goes down to zero at idle, which is obviously not right. I don't know if this is another YASim limitation or the engine Nasal not working properly, but I'm going to look into it now.

Could this be something to do with the way YASim handles Turboprops, like it does Jets? Isn't idle for a Turboprop something like 0.1% of total RPM.

I can't remember but I think Skyop on the main forums did some work on it a while back. Might be wrong.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious here but the thrust reverser doesn't seem to have been made available :unsure:
Anyway, this fixed it for me as a key assignment:

The real thing has reversers and the FDM (a400m-yasim.xml) provided for them so I suppose there's no harm in using them. If anyone wants to add reversers, then a key-assignment like this will toggle them
