Can't get the livery pack to go up to this site at all, despite multiple tries. Successfully (no bother) put it up in the Livs section of FGUKMedia, but seems not to show up (or perhaps needs approval to go live).

So that's where it's at. If I should punt it into the dev section instead, lemme know.

Hellcat update…

Have 10 livs in different stages of completion (worst is 80% done) Also overlaid my texture layer on the existent livs (7) to spruce them up a bit.

But…

I discovered a mapping tweak that needed addressing, so Emmanuel will be redoing the map for this to eliminate some mirroring of surfaces.

After that, I'll fling 'em on out there.

Got revised Hellcat map from Emmanuel this morning. Should be cracking on corrections and done soon.
BTW - he is updating the model in other areas too, so there should be a release through his hangar soon also.

I guess it's a question of whether we're collaborating, or generating a model fork.
if it's a fork, I'd suggest a new model name to distinguish it from the other one. But hopefully most of your and Emmanuel's changes are complementary. But I reckon that's why you need to talk.

I sent a message to Emmanuel filling him in on the FDM changes. Also, I see from stuff he's sent my way that the changes he's implementing are tailwheel improved, antennas, cables etc.

Next up are the TBM Avenger and the Pilatus PC-21.

The '21 has been problematic for finding good texture resources - daggum paucity of blueprints of any detail. Nevertheless, I have finally wrung out a good line / rivet map now. Still trying to locate the knobby antenna thingies off the fuselage on the map, and the wheel hubs.

I always do this as a prelude to painting - generate line map, imprint rivets and other "3D" items, use this to generate a dirt map, then paint. The paint kit for this was a bit iffy, so I will also be making a replacement.

Any particular requests for PC-21 paints? Now's your chance, otherwise you'll jest have to accept what I gives ye!

Naw..buildings don't float! :P

I have (in FG 2.10 mind) some ground textures on the map that render this way, but only in Rembrandt settings.
